The Fall One-Pitch league will be set up as follows:

  1. Each batter will face 1 pitch.  The batter must swing if the pitch is a strike or be called out.  A foul ball is also an out.  Should a pitched ball be called by the umpire a ball then the batter will take a walk.  Games tend to average around 45 minutes in a one pitch game.
  2. Each team will play one night a week in a double-header. Game time is 5:45pm.   Nights of played based on field availability.
  3. The league will start the week of August 31st.  The league should end in late September.
  4. The regular season would be 8 games or 4 weeks.  Each  team will advance to playoffs.

 

Registration Deadline:     AUGUST 13, 2009

No registration will be accepted without:   1. Entry Fee   2. Team Roster/Waiver   3. MCIRA affiliation dues 4. Home Field.  Incomplete registrations will be placed on a waiting list.    The registration fee is non-refundable. 

IMPORTANT:  A Roster/Waiver Participation form must be on file at the MCIRA office before a team/player can actively participate.  Teams who participated in the MCIRA summer league do not have to submit a new roster waiver form for the One-Pitch league.  Only new participants to the softball program do have to complete a roster waiver form.

 

Registration Fee:   $550.00 per team

I have authorization to enter a team in this league on behalf of my company and I understand by signing this form, I will be responsible for the league entry fee.
